It is an exciting time to join our team, with the recent implementation of a new EPR system, as well as a planned wide scale equipment replacement programme.
The post is based at the University Dental hospital, within a small, friendly and nurturing team . Candidates, who have been qualified for 18 months or longer, will also be eligible to apply for link grading to a band 6 post following appointment.

Using the academic and clinical knowledge acquired during undergraduate training carry out a wide range of dental radiographic examinations referred to the department. The responsibilities for the examination include written justification of the examination by consideration of the clinical information provided and selection of the most appropriate examination required to answer the clinical question, whilst minimising radiation dose to the patient and maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Although indirectly supervised by senior staff who are available for support for support and advice, the post-holder is required to work independently, using initiative, skills and knowledge to provide a high quality, professional service at all times. Close communication with multidisciplinary staff from other areas is essential in the provision the service.
Assist in the clinical training of radiography & dental students, undertaking clinical assessments and providing feedback to the Clinical Tutor
