Job overview
Do you have experience and a proven track record working in health or social care?
Are you seeking a new challenge in a developing function?
We are developing our mental health Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team. At present this is a service which provides intensive home treatment to people living in Oxford City as a true alternative to admission and following discharge from hospital. Now in a growth period, the team is being developed to now include the whole of Oxfordshire.
Senior Support Workers are instrumental in delivering intensive home treatments to service users in their own place of residence. Senior Support Workers will deliver recovery focused intervention (emotional and practical support) to a caseload of service users and their nominated friends/family/carers.
We offer opportunities for professional development and to influence and contribute to service development. You will be provided with supervision, appraisal and support. The service will operate 24/7 and a variety of working patterns will be available. This post will evolve to working night shifts from April 2025
Informal discussions about the Team and role from interested candidates would be very welcome.
