The Post Covid Community Pathway and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) Services in Bromley are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Specialist Physiotherapist who would like to be involved in developing these services.
If you are a Physiotherapist, with respiratory experience, who would like to use their skills to work alongside the multi-disciplinary team, but also assist with service development and quality improvement, please get in touch.
The PR service is currently working towards national accreditation. Under the NHS 5 year plan, respiratory services were identified as a key target for the NHS to aim to reduce hospital admissions. Pulmonary Rehabilitation was identified as a key component to promoting the health and wellbeing to those patients with a chronic lung condition. As part of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service Accreditation Scheme (PRSAS), the PR service undergoes audits in line with the National Respiratory Audit Plan, continuous quality improvement and patient engagement to reach national standards. The service is aiming to achieve accreditation in 2025, and if successful would be in the top 15% of services run in England and Wales.
