So what can we offer you in return?
We're an organisation which puts people first. We'll do everything possible to help you feel respected, valued and included. As a Trust we are committed in making a difference. Your development is important to us, so don't forget to ask us during interview what opportunities we can offer. We can offer fully funded lifelong learning opportunities such as an apprenticeship from GCSE to Masters level.

Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work as part of our acute mental health, inpatient occupational therapy team at Mill View Hospital, in the vibrant city of Brighton and Hove.
You will be based on our female acute admissions ward and be responsible for providing specialist occupational therapy assessment, treatment planning and a range of 1:1 and group interventions to women with mental health needs.
You will form an integral part of the dynamic multidisciplinary team and play a key role in contributing to safe and effective discharges. You will be responsible for supervising the occupational therapy support worker.
This is a fantastic development opportunity for both a band 5 OT’s who feel ready to increase their level of challenge and responsibility or an existing band 6 who wishes to broaden their expert knowledge and skills in a clinical specialism. This could also be a band 5-6 development opportunity for someone with relevant skills, experience and a passion for working with women.
We welcome candidates with effective communication and organisation skills, a compassionate, person-centred approach, able to demonstrate confidence and self-awareness and above all a caring attitude and desire to make a difference. You will need to possess effective time management skills to manage your own caseload and work through the OT process.
