Working in partnership with our service partners, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital and Princess Royal University Hospital we aim to set the standard for the future of pathology.
Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join our busy, professional finance department.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and have experience in management accounts and business partnering. There will be exposure to all levels of management, both within the finance team and across our pathology labs.
The role reports to the Finance Business Partner – Genomics and acts as an intermediary between the central Finance Team and Synnovis Analytics’ & Services’ operations. The role requires proactive collaboration with the business and would suit someone looking for a semi-autonomous position with plenty of scope to add value.
You will be responsible for working closely with senior operations staff, producing, interpreting, and communicating the financial results. You’ll partner with them to take the actions necessary to deliver the budget on target, as well as driving further improvements in the financial performance of the business.
Each month, you’ll gather financial and operational data from various sources and produce the month-end reporting packs, which are key to interpreting performance. You will partner with the site leads to take management actions based on the information.
You will analyse and monitor financial information and produce variance analysis, budgeting, and re-forecasting. You will also provide monthly contractual reconciliations, data, and invoicing, as well as analysis to support business cases and new test pricing, which drive the business forward.
Advert
Working within the Finance Business Partnering team, you’ll partner across our business, working closely with Operations to drive maximum performance.
The role is based at our Head Office, but you’ll need to engage with our Operations teams and stakeholders across all our hospital sites.
You’ll be supporting the financial management information reporting for the South-East Genomics Laboratory Hub contract. This role is a fantastic opportunity to take your next step in commercial accounting and add value.
