We are seeking a locality administrator with good customer service skills, an eye for detail and confidence in using IT systems. The postholder will support both School Nursing and Health Visiting teams

The post holder will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service and local administrative support within the school nursing team and as part of the Bexley 0-19 Children’s Public Health Service.
Post holders will be required to liaise with service users and service representatives, healthcare professionals and other colleagues on a daily basis dealing with a variety of standard administrative tasks. For more information, please see job description.

General administration within the service, including but not limited to:
- Providing quality customer care on redirected calls/emails and to communicate these to the relevant services in a timely, helpful and pleasant manner.
- Communicate effectively with Bexley Primary and Secondary schools/ academies to book termly profile meetings.
- Upload data from profile meetings and school year questionnaires to school screener.
- Support with the administration of referrals to ophthalmology, audiology and weight management service
- Manage enquiries effectively and sensitively, taking action where necessary and escalating if required in line with Bromley Healthcare policies, procedures and guidance.
- Receiving and distributing incoming mail and ensure outgoing mail is sent appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor Bexley 0-19 Live Chat function during the service working hours.
- Sending out appointments to service users via text/email and facilitate any changes or additional needs as required in order to minimise DNA rates.
- Liaising with the CCC regarding referrals any queries and support the CCC during periods of annual leave and sickness where necessary.
- Undertaking general office duties as necessary, including filing, scanning, photocopying, taking notes of meetings, management and disposal of confidential information as part of an effective administration service.
- Accurately maintaining and keeping secure patient health and staff records/systems in line with policy and standard operating procedure, to ensue data quality, confidentiality and compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Triaging service users concerns or complaints in regard to service provision. Handling these sensitively and in line with the organisations process, procedure and policy and escalating concerns to ensure effective standards of patient service is provided.
- To utilise available information systems to find and confirm information or resolve queries. For example in regard to patient records, processes and procedures. The sourcing of products and services or contacts.
- Providing admin support as requested by the service.
- Booking appointments into Health Visitors diaries
- Coordinating annual equipment callibration
- Creating and discharging emis referrals

Salary is determined by NHS experience and current banding/pay point. External applicants will begin at the entry point of the salary scale in line with NHS terms and conditions.
