Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The essential and desirable criteria will be used to shortlist for interview and you should ensure that you refer to these within your application to increase your chances of being selected for interview.

Interviews for this role will be held at our Littlemore Mental Health Centre on Thursday 19 June and will consist of a stakeholder group discussion followed by a panel interview.

Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Knowledge Requirements

Essential criteria

Detailed knowledge of HTM/HBN requirements in relation to design Experience of working across departments and organisational boundaries
Significant relevant post qualification experience as a senior manager within an estates and facilities department.
Detailed knowledge of statutory requirements in relation to estates and facilities.

Qualifications – Academic/Skills/Professional

Essential criteria

Degree in building/ engineering/ construction management or other related subject; or equivalent qualification.
Masters in relevant subject for the role. Member of RICS/ CIOB/ CIBSE/ IHEEM.
To hold relevant Chartered status.
NEBOSH in construction.
PRINCE2 or equivalent.

Experience

Essential criteria

Extensive experience of designing and managing large scale development schemes.
Experienced in the use of a wide range of Microsoft packages with keyboard skills including writing corporate documents.

Desirable criteria

Previous experience within a Health Care environment.
