Do you have experience of working in a busy and fast-paced recruitment team and providing a positive candidate experience?
We are on a mission to improve our candidate journey and ensure that anyone interested in joining our Trust receives clear communications, guidance and support throughout the process.
This is a key role within our Resourcing Compliance team which works closely alongside our Talent Acquisition and Marketing & Events teams, providing a holistic candidate experience to ensure that once moved to offer stage, new starters are progressed through our onboarding process in a timely manner whilst providing a friendly and welcoming service.

This is a full time 12 month fixed term contract based at our HQ in Littlemore, Oxford. You'll be required to work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office or at events in the Oxfordshire area. The remaining 3 days can be worked from home or in the office.

- Ensure that the necessary and correct information is provided by the hiring manager prior to starting the pre-employment checks
- Be first point of contact for candidates completing on-line forms and assisting candidates with any queries relating to the pre-employment stage
- Prioritise own workload and meet pre-employment KPI’s, keeping recruitment managers informed of any potential delays
- Ensure that all pre-employment checks are completed and that NHS guidelines on references, eligibility to work, DBS and Occupation Health clearance are followed
- Ensure timely and appropriate communication with recruiting managers is maintained
- Keep the Talent Acquisition Team and Recruitment Compliance Team up to date with numbers of candidates in the pipeline and any difficulties in engaging with candidates and hiring manager
- Input data and generate correspondence via the ESR/E-Rec/Trac systems as required in the administration of the recruitment process
- Process payroll for new starters

Ideally you will have had experience within a recruitment team, or if not within customer services or HR, and will be familiar with employment legislation and the stages involved in getting someone ready to join an organisation.
You will require knowledge of MS Office systems and be confident in communicating both verbally and over email in a professional and proficient manner. Any experience of an ATS (we currently use TRAC) would be advantageous but you should be able to pick up systems quickly and be confident with automation whilst still ensuring the human element is evident.
