Job overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and organised midwife to join our dedicated team as the Vulnerable Women Lead Midwife at UCLH.
This fixed-term role is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the care of vulnerable women by managing her own caseload of patients and lead the expansion of Tulip Team—a specialist group of Band 6 midwives providing enhanced antenatal and occasional intrapartum care to women who meet our safeguarding criteria.
You will play a central role in the development, management, and daily leadership of this essential service, working closely with the wider safeguarding team to ensure high-quality, compassionate care. Your leadership will be crucial in promoting safe, effective clinical practice, building strong team dynamics, and delivering a consistently excellent patient experience.
We're looking for a motivated leader with strong organisational and communication skills, committed to safeguarding and equity in maternity care. If you are passionate about service development and have the drive to make a difference, we want to hear from you.
Join us and help shape a service that truly puts the most vulnerable women at the heart of maternity care.
This part time role anticipates working hours across 4 days a week, Mon-Fri but can be discussed further on a case by case basis.
