Facilities Manager is responsible for the management compliance of facilities services across the UCLH estate and will support the Trust in delivering a clean and safe environment for patients, service users and staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable problem solver to join the team.
The Facilities Manager will maintain effective communication and close collaborative working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders at all levels, including but not limited to contract partners and service providers, matrons, ward and departmental sisters, infection control, trust expert advisors, external contractors, consultants, risk management, health & safety, patient safety and quality leads, North Central London ICB and local authorities.

- Effective management of In-house soft FM teams.
- Effective management of in-house services performance through SLA and direct management processes.
- Ensure effective systems and processes are in place to capture, record, monitor and improve the status of statutory and legislative compliance in relation to Facilities services.
- Support the Estates and Facilities Operations Manager with the implementation of change management processes and practices so as to achieve delivery of the trust’s strategic agenda.
- Responsible for the management of work schemes as directed by the Head of Facilities.
- To provide advice for service development options, which will improve existing services, deliver cost efficiency and take advantage of the latest technical solutions and innovations.
- To be responsible for the delivery of high quality service, which meets the standards, expected by Estates and Facilities, our partners and the wider organisation.
- Reviews and approve financial spend across the service portfolio.

- Efficient with IT (Healthroster, Word, Excel etc.)
