You will be responsible for providing an efficient and comprehensive linen service to all wards, departments, and staff within the Trust, ensuring that agreed quality standards are consistently achieved and maintained. This involves accurately counting, packing, and distributing clean linen to the hospital wards. You will be expected to demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism and be able to work independently or as part of a team to deliver the service effectively. You may also be required to provide cover at Chorley and District General Hospital. At all times, you must act in a manner that upholds the Trust’s values, promoting efficiency and excellent customer care.

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was established on 1 April 2005. The predecessor Trust (Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust) had been formed in 2002 following the merger of Chorley and South Ribble NHS Trust and Preston Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
