Trosolwg o'r swydd
Are you interested in an exciting career in clinical research?
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is capable of contributing to the development of research within Gynaecology and IVF Research Team. The Team facilitates and supports the delivery of research within Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
If you are committed to providing high quality care to patients and helping them to make the right decisions about their treatment options, with the skills to guide and advise them throughout their research journey, this role could be for you.
Prior clinical research experience is not essential, but advantageous. Ideally you will have experience of the NHS and working within a clinical or patient facing environment.
Comprehensive training and an induction programme will be provided for successful candidates. We will also ensure that you have tailored, individual personal development plans with support for further training.
Advert
You will take a proactive approach in managing clinical research studies including developing study procedures and practice, gaining consent and approvals and recruiting patients, alongside clinical duties including providing the highest quality patient care and collecting and processing samples.
You will be instrumental in implementing study objectives and will provide dedicated support to ensure that studies are delivered to time and target. You will be the main point of contact for study principal investigators, sponsors and patients and so effective communication and team working skills are essential. You will be involved in ensuring that research undertaken at MFT safeguards the well-being of patients and is undertaken within ICH Good Clinical Practice Guidelines. You will also have opportunities to showcase your work and will always be an ambassador of research at MFT, at internal and external events.
The key focus for this post will be delivering Gynaecology research studies across both St Mary's Hospital and on a mobile van unit across Greater Manchester. You must be willing to travel and be flexible to accommodate the service needs.
It is essential that the post holder holds a clean driving license and access to a car for work requirements. Please make this clear in your application.
