Job overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking HR professional. As HR Business Partner, you will use your positive attitude, extensive HR knowledge and solid communication and influencing skills to provide professional guidance to our Divisional teams to achieve our organisational objectives.
You will hit the ground running, forging strong partnerships with management teams to develop and implement the workforce aspects of the Trusts business plans. You will work with senior teams to provide excellent HR operational and strategic support.
You will need to have demonstrable customer focus and experience of leading on complex employee relations. Innovative in your approach, you will understand how HR adds value, you will develop effective solutions and fully engage with stakeholders.
You will be an excellent communicator and highly skilled at fostering constructive working relationships. You will also have significant demonstrable experience in HRBP roles in large, complex organisations.

To work with the Workforce Director, Asst Director of HR Operations, Divisional Leadership Teams and colleague HRBPs in the delivery of a professional and responsive HR service for designated Division(s) at the Trust. Providing strategic advice and guidance on the full range of workforce issues, including complex employee relations, recruitment & retention, attendance, change management, workforce planning, talent management, terms & conditions of employment and policies & procedures
Managing all aspects of HR delivery within the relevant Division (s) to agree quality standards and within the resource & income base available, to support the development of the Trust as a high performing, clinically led organisation

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Masters Degree Level education or equivalent experience
- Post-graduate Diploma or MSC in HR or equivalent experience
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Member of CIPD or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- Project Management qualification
- Formal leadership and management development, evidenced by a qualification or participation in a recognised programme
- Associate CIPD member
Experience
Essential criteria
- An in-depth understanding of health care provision and awareness of current NHS policies and priorities
- Experience of leading, coaching and building capability in all aspects of the HR function
- Experience of managing cross - functional projects and integration of services
- Proven experience of working at and influencing, senior level required and providing expert advice to Board level
- Experience of successful management of complex employee relation cases
- Extensive experience of leading transformation programmes and implementing right sizing initiatives including management of redundancy and TUPE
- Experience of leading/setting organisational policy based on interpretation of national guidance or legislation
- Experience of developing, executing and tracking the success of HR functions and projects
- Demonstrable experience of managing contentious people issues effectively together with a high level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal and communication skills
