Job overview
As a Research Imaging Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all Imaging reviews for local feasibility and research capacity. You will offer a thorough review of all essential trial documents including Protocols, IRAS forms and information sheets.
We are seeking an organized individual with a meticulous eye to detail who can use their experience in Imaging to identify discrepancies, problem solve and monitor timelines
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with Imaging and/or research experience to join the Research Implementation Team
Advert
Main Duties:
• Evaluate local Imaging feasibility and research capacity.
• Communicate with clinical researchers within the Trust, Imaging, Medical Physics and Principle Investigators.
• Coordinate IRMER approvals amongst Imaging Specialties.
• Review trials at set-up and during any amendments and assess their Imaging capacity and capability.
• Provide detailed costs using the NIHR tariff to reflect the costs of Imaging.
• Cross-cover the Booking Study Coordinator; scheduling research scans and coordinate trial specific reporting of trials within the expected timelines.
• Create and manage the Imaging feasibility tracker. From this, data will be gathered and presented to the Imaging MDT.
Important Skills and Qualities:
• Excellent communication skills to all members of the multidisciplinary team including Imaging, other research units and R&D.
• Be able to meticulously identify discrepancies within study documents; Protocols, Imaging manuals, IRAS/ARSAC and information sheets.
• Be able to adapt to other tasks to support the team and cross-cover.
