North Tyneside Talking Therapies service currently operates Monday- Friday covering some evening work.

The post-holder will work within the North Tyneside Talking Therapies Service providing assessment and high-volume low intensity psychological interventions; these comprise a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions to assist clients who experience mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety and depression. These interventions will be delivered via digital, video, face to face, telephone and groups.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- The post-holder will work within the North Tyneside Talking Therapies Service providing high volume low intensity psychological interventions as a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP)
- The post holder will provide a range of low intensity CBT based (cognitive behavioural therapy) self management interventions to support a caseload of clients who experience mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety and depression.
- The post holder will deliver evidence-based psychological interventions in line with the Talking Therapies manual and NICE guidelines to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients
- The post holder will be committed to continual professional development as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
- To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership practices within your role in order to support a collective leadership culture within the service and trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) demonstrates psychologically safe behaviours, and (c) contributes team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries

- Professional registration with BABCP/BPS – Post holder will be expected to complete this within 6 months of appointment.
