Job overview
Health Innovation Manchester is seeking a Senior Health Economist to play a central role in shaping the future of health and care across Greater Manchester. This is an opportunity to use your expertise to generate insights that will directly influence how innovations are adopted, scaled and evaluated – ensuring real benefits for patients, the NHS and wider society.
In this role, you will lead the development of health economic analysis across a diverse portfolio of programmes, from cardiovascular and metabolic health to digital technologies and new models of care. You will design and apply approaches that assess value, cost-effectiveness, and impact at both system and population level, working closely with clinicians, academic partners, and industry.
We are looking for someone who combines technical rigour with a collaborative mindset. You will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders across different sectors, able to translate complex analysis into clear insights, and committed to informing decision-making with robust evidence. This is a senior post, offering the chance to contribute thought leadership and mentor colleagues while continuing to develop your own expertise.
