An exciting Band 6 nursing opportunity has arisen in North Manchester Outpatient Department which offers an extensive range of outpatient services to patients throughout the Greater Manchester area and beyond. Energy, enthusiasm and drive is required to work in this service, which holds clinics covering Nephology, Infectious Disease, Cardiology Endocrinology, Breast, ENT, Respiratory, General surgery, Haematology, Orthopedics, Vascular, Rheumatology to name but a few. We have interaction from a wide multidisciplinary team including specialist nurses and advanced practitioners, so the opportunities to develop your skills are endless.

To succeed, you’ll need to be committed in delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.
Applicants must possess a proven clinical and managerial career history at Band 5 or 6 and demonstrate a commitment to effective leadership. An experience in an outpatient environment is desirable as is a commitment to outpatient service development.
The role will be based in the North Manchester General Hospital Outpatients Department/Phlebotomy Services.
Clinics run five days a week. Staff members are required to rotate clinics as per service needs. Core working hours are between 08:00 - 18: 00 Monday to Friday.
