We have a new band 5 vacancy to work within the Community Nutrition Service in Manchester.
The successful candidate will work across Manchester Community supporting patients in their own home, residential / nursing home and clinic settings. This post is to cover adult services.
Our caseload includes support for patients with a variety of different clinical conditions for example cancer, dementia, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal conditions and age related illness.
We work closely with our community colleagues across the MDT to provide high quality patient care.
Strong communication and time management skills are essential to allow you to independently manage a caseload, but we will support via clinical supervision, and their will be support from other dietitians and team leads.
Team working skills are also key and we take a whole team approach to supporting and growing the dietitians in the team

To carry a general clinical caseload involving assessments and treatment plans for patients in their own home, residential / nursing home or clinic setting.
To give clinical dietetic advise as appropriate to support service planning and delivery.
To be involved with dietetic student training and supporting the development of the next generation of the dietetic workforce.
