Job overview
The Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service was funded by the government in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower Fire to provide a range of mental health and wellbeing services to those affected by the fire. It provides therapy and wellbeing services to adults and children in the community via a multidisciplinary teams. GHWS has a national and international profile. Community engagement is a key part of the programme and we work closely with a large number of local organisations and individuals in North Kensington. A key objective is to support the local community through the process of recovery.
The programme is unusual in its scope and duration. As such it is important to evaluate what we are doing and to learn lessons to inform future responses to the event. At the same time, it is important to deliver a high-quality service to adults and children. This post combines both elements and we would expect the postholder to contribute clinically at a level appropriate to their skills and experience and also to contribute to community engagement and to the evaluations of the service. This will involve working with the Data Analysts and data handling, data analysis and the preparation of reports so a high degree of numeracy is required. We will provide support to develop the statistical skills of the postholder. The team also includes senior data analysts and other assistants.
