We are recruiting multiple Domestic Assistants to join our team at St Nicholas Hospital, Gosforth. There are multiple contracts available with flexibility in hours, and we are happy to discuss preferred hours with candidates in the interview.
Carrying out a range of cleaning tasks in areas such as offices,
public areas such as corridors, areas which patients use such as shared spaces on wards as well as bedrooms and bathrooms
As a domestic assistant you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, you will be adaptable, approachable actively promote continuous improvement of standards, adhering to all policies and procedures.
Being able to follow instructions and follow a routine work schedule which sets out your tasks and carry out those duties often without supervision.
You will use equipment and cleaning products safely, adhering to all control of substances harmful to health (COSHH) rules and regulations.
Understanding infection prevention and control rules and adhering to them.
Completing any paperwork such as quality checks and any other documentation required.
You will be respectful of other people and work in a way that supports equity, diversity and inclusion.

Pay: Band A (£12.51 per hour)
We pay 25% enhancement, time and a quarter, on hours worked during a Saturday and Sunday.

Please note that the above advertised salary will not apply if you choose to remain on AfC. Anyone currently paying into the NHS Pension scheme will be able to retain this.
All jobs will be appointed on the NTW Solutions Limited terms and conditions and not NHS Agenda for Change terms and conditions. New starters who are not in the NHS Pension already will be enrolled into a NEST pension.
Recruitment into NTW Solutions Limited will follow the principals of NHS Employer Check Standards and any relevant employment legislation.
Various posts are subject to DBS clearance prior to commencement.
