Job overview
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to support the MFT out sourced pharmacy team to ensure external contractors provide a high quality, value for money service.
You will join a large, friendly and innovative team within the pharmacy service and play an important role in maintaining and developing its contribution to the care of hospital patients in their own home.

The co-ordinator will be a core member of the Homecare and outsourced medicine team and play a major role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the homecare and out-patient pharmacy services. You will facilitate regular meetings and establishing robust communication channels with referrer clinical teams . The post holder will also contribute to the delivery of plans and approaches to promote engagement clinical teams with the Homecare and outsourced pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for those with proven experience coordinating a multi-disciplinary team and strong project management skills looking for a new challenge within an exciting and newly established role. We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to work collaboratively with a variety of clinical staff and also work on their own initiative. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong inter-personal skills, be organised and possess strong IT skills including proficiency in the use of Microsoft office and databases. Previous experience within pharmacy and knowledge of Homecare is required.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant work experience in relevant field
- Good general education with high levels of literacy, numeric and IT skills (equivalent to A level)
- Business or administration related qualification or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- Project management qualification
- IT qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services or specialised knowledge of pharmacy with a willingness to work towards NVQ2 in pharmacy services
- Registered pharmacy Technician

- Experience of working in the NHS
- Experience of project management and delivery
- Experience of co-ordinating a multidisciplinary team
- Experience communicating and working collaboratively with staff at all levels and with external stakeholders
- Experience of training and supporting others

- Proven experience of facilitating virtual meetings
- Experience of delivering against internal and external initiatives & supporting change
- Experience of project management within a healthcare setting
- Previous NHS experience communicating with senior clinicians and healthcare professionals
