We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced cardiac rehabilitation professional with a strong cardiology background to take the next step in leadership. We’re looking for someone with vision—someone ready to lead, develop, and elevate our Cardiac Rehabilitation service while living our core values every day.
In this dynamic leadership role, you will:
-Manage and coordinate the Cardiac Rehabilitation service in collaboration with a skilled multidisciplinary team.
-Provide specialist assessment, advice, and personalised education to patients with cardiac conditions.
-Shape and redesign the service using best evidence and patient-centered principles.
-Maintain high standards of care, while ensuring effective use of resources and meeting activity targets.

We’re seeking a candidate who brings:
-Broad experience in cardiology and cardiovascular exercise management.
-Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
-A professional registration as a Nurse, Physiotherapist, or Exercise Physiologist.
-A relevant degree plus ENB 998/Mentorship Module or equivalent.
-At least 5 years’ experience in cardiology or cardiac rehab setting.
-Post Graduate qualification at Master’s level relevant to role to demonstrate specialist clinical and leadership skills
To develop, manage and monitor the Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation service.
Line management of specialist nurses and admin team.
To provide specialist nursing assessments and advise patients with cardiac conditions.
To facilitate and participate in the redesign of the service as required based on best evidence and patient needs.

Qualifications / Training
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse/Professional and hold active registration with relevant Professional body
- Degree level qualification relevant to role
- Post Graduate qualification at Masters level relevant to role to demonstrate specialist clinical and leadership skills
- Evidence of mandatory and statutory essential training skills, for example, Basic Life Support, manual handling, infection control, fire etc
- Managerial or Leadership qualification

- Project management/Quality improvement qualification
- Restorative supervision/Professional Nurse Advocate qualification
- Education/Training qualification
- Advanced Clinical Practice modules at Masters level (Physical Assessment, Prescribing)
