Ward F4 at North Manchester General Hospital is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our team. This is a full time position to help support the department with house keeping duties. The post holder will be required to work from Monday to Friday (No weekends, no bank holiday).
We are looking for a person who is keen to work with our team, who has good communication skills and organisation skills to ensure the smooth running of the Unit. The post holder will work as an integral part of the team to continue to uphold the high standards on the Unit.
As a housekeeper, you will lead the ward services such as catering, cleaning, equipment and supplies. The work can include but not limited to:
talking to and reassuring patients
ordering non-clinical supplies
keeping the Unit clean, tidy and organized
preparing snacks and drinks
reporting faults and expiration dates of equipment
clerical and admin tasks

We are seeking a motivated and committed Housekeeper to join our team. You will be working 37.5 hours per week between Monday and Friday.
This is an exciting and pivotal role in which you will work closely with the nursing and domestic staff to ensure a safe, clean and organised clinical environment.
You will take responsibility for ensuring that all medical equipment is clean and well maintained. You will undertake the ordering of stores and equipment on the ward, excellent computer skills are essential for this role. You will be responsible for assisting with obtaining feedback from our patients by using the What Matters To Me tracker and friend and family test. You will also be assisting the team in continuous quality improvement work.
You must be able to empathise with and consider patients as you go about your duties, you will have an organised and positive approach to ensure the tasks at hand are carried out in a timely, effective manner. Able to cope well under pressure, you will utilise excellent communication and team skills.
