We have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or established Physiotherapist to join our friendly team of therapists at our newly built  Forest of Dean Hospital working on the in-patient ward.  We welcome applications from those looking for their first post or those seeking to develop their existing role.  The successful candidate will be an integral member of the team and will work in a ward-based environment.  You will work with an experienced and friendly multidisciplinary team alongside occupational therapists, nurses, GPs, mental health services and social care. 

If you are enthusiastic, have a person-centred approach to care, enjoy working within a team of therapists and are keen to progress clients to achieve their goals we would love to hear from you. In turn you will be well supported with CPD opportunities to develop and grow as a therapist within our organisation.

Woodland View Ward at the Forest of Dean Hospital provide sub-acute care, rehabilitation and end of life care to patients. Our aim is to enable people to live as independently as possible and the ethos of the team is rehabilitation with a person-led approach to achieve recovery and return home. Much of the role involves assessment of patients with multiple pathologies, implementing rehabilitation goals and coordinating safe discharges for the patients, whilst promoting a risk positive ethos.

This high-level overview shows we are in a healthy position, with higher scores than average for comparable organisations, alongside a great response rate, indicating good staff engagement.  However, we also know we have plenty of room for improvement in many areas. To that end, we continue to prioritise and invest in our commitment to genuinely becoming a Great Place to Work with consistent top-quartile performance in the annual staff survey and Pulse surveys.
