An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Hive EPR team powered by Epic and join the Stork application as an Analyst.
Stork application plays a key role in the streamlining maternity departments pathways and managing the pregnancy and childbirth workflow.
The stork Analyst is a vital colleague maximising the benefit of the digitisation, working closely with our clinical and operational teams.
The assessment process for this role includes Sphinx testing which an aptitude assessment designed to evaluate critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

The role
As a Hive EPR Analyst - Stork within the Inpatient Service, you’ll design and configure the Stork Maternity pathway and adapt the application to our working practices and standards. Your work will be a vital link between the new technology and our services and will ensure our transition to Hive continues to be a success.
You’ll work closely with our staff to analyse processes, agree on clinical and operational standards and future workflows to be incorporated into Epic, the software that runs Hive. To make sure our systems meet operational and auditing requirements, you’ll also collaborate with our Business Intelligence team.
As a central member of the team, you’ll be required to lead on engagement with clinicians and other staff related to the application. But there are also opportunities to work with other EPR application teams across testing, security, user support and medical device integration. As part of your EPR training, you’ll also receive recognised qualifications in an application.

- Degree level or equivalent experience (relevant to role).
- Evidence of Personal Development

- Qualification in Project Management or Business Analysis. Clinical Qualification

Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of clinical, administrative and/and operational workflows and processes within a hospital environment
- Previous/current clinical / operational NHS / Healthcare organisation experience and understanding of the NHS Performance Framework
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages especially Excel
- Knowledge of NHS Information Standards and their application
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of Lean & 6 sigma analysis techniques
- Knowledge of Data Protection Act, GDPR & Information Governance
- Knowledge of managing complex, strategic projects or areas of complex working practices
- Knowledge of health care IT systems
Experience
Essential criteria
- Evidenced experience of communicating complex issues to a range of people
- Experience of delivering work packages in a timely and efficient manger
Desirable criteria
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, documentation and methodology development
- Epic or other clinical system accreditation or equivalent experience
- Experience in clinical field in obstetrics, gynaecology, labour, delivery, and postpartum care.
