Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking an experienced, motivated, and dynamic HCPC registered professional as Imaging Site Lead to join our Imaging Division.
 
Imaging Site Leads  provide professional and operational leadership for radiology services at your allocated site, working closely with senior colleagues, clinical leads, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate imaging care.
 
Trafford General Hospital (TGH)
At TGH, you will play a pivotal role in delivering imaging across Trafford, Altrincham and Withington sites, with close links to Wythenshawe Hospital. In this
You will:
  • Manage day-to-day imaging operations, including inpatient flow and elective hub activity.
  • Provide leadership and HR support for radiography and RDA teams.
  • Contribute to service planning, theatre scheduling, and site-based service development.

Main Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day leadership and management of radiography teams at site level.
  • Ensure delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centred imaging services.
  • Drive service development, quality improvement, and audit.
  • Support senior management colleagues across Imaging Division to ensure service continuity.
  • Lead on workforce planning, recruitment, HR matters, and staff development.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical colleagues to ensure timely, responsive imaging services.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and Trust policies, including IR(ME)R and safeguarding standards.

  • Trafford General Hospital - Imaging educational lead (postgraduate)

We are looking for registered professionals who:

  • Hold current HCPC registration.
  • Have significant post-registration experience, ideally with leadership or management responsibilities.
  • Bring excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and the ability to motivate and support teams.
  • Committed to continuous service improvement and delivering high-quality patient care.

You should also be aware of competing pressures within hospital and Imaging services and be able to make decisions and prioritise according to clinical need and priority.
