We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as Associate Director of Contract Finance. This is a pivotal senior role within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB), leading the reporting, analysis and planning of contracts across the system.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of contracting, by driving innovation, transformation and financial sustainability across all our contracts. This role will provide leadership across our portfolio of over £3bn in contracted services, working with the NHS and independent sector to deliver the best possible outcomes and value for taxpayers money. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail as well as shaping that for high level reporting and strategic discussions.
This is a hybrid role. Office working (Eastleigh) on several days per week is essential.

The Associate Director Contract Finance is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial management of commissioning contracts, ensuring value for money and supporting delivery of strategic commissioning objectives.
The role leads financial planning, reporting, and analysis across complex provider contracts of over £3bn. working collaboratively across organisational boundaries to support integrated care delivery and system performance. It contributes to strategic planning, commissioning strategy, and continuous improvement of financial and contracting processes.
This is a senior role supporting the Chief Finance Officer and Directors of Finance to provide significant financial leadership and guidance to the Integrated Care Board (ICB) all its component parts

The postholder will work with the ICB Directors, and Teams to develop strategies and plans that will deliver sustainable, high-quality services within affordable levels.
The postholder will proactively provide advice through research, analysis and review on highly complex financial issues facing the organisation.
The role will ensure the provision of high quality, relevant and timely information that meets the needs of the ICB.
The role will require involvement in wider performance management issues and will ensure the highest standards of corporate governance and probity are maintained.
The role will work across organisational boundaries engaging a diverse range of stakeholders crucial to the successful outcomes of the ICB and be part of a team that will deliver across a wide range of highly complex financial management, financial accounting, contracting and performance management processes, with line management responsibility.
The role will be extremely flexible to meet the needs of the ICB within a rapidly changing environment and as such the scope of the role is likely to grow and/or change.
The postholder will also represent the Directors and Deputy Directors of Finance as required.
Working closely with Contract Management, Business Intelligence and other colleagues you will collaborate to maximise the ICBs delivery of strategic aims and ensuring effective delivery of contract management services, including leadership and direct delivery of these services where required.
Engagement with the Multi-Disciplinary teams, local and regional teams and nationally, with very senior staff is necessary, to drive the ongoing development of NHS contracting across all provisional routes.
