An exciting opportunity has arisen across our Bromley Children's Dietetic team for a bank band 6 Children's community Dietitian. The role is predominately to manage a complex clinical caseload within the Children’s Dietetic Service, primarily in a clinic setting, and including patients with allergies, faltering growth and obesity.

We are currently looking for a Community Dietitian to join our dynamic and friendly team. The department has dietetic teams across Bromley, Bexley and Lewisham, in adults and children's specialties. We, therefore, have a good opportunity for shared learning, clinical supervision, and support from the wider dietetic department.
The Children’s Community Dietetic team provides a wide range of education and training for health professionals and staff from other agencies. They also work to promote health and nutrition to children and their families throughout the Borough of Bromley.
As part of the Community Dietetic Service, each Children’s Community Dietitian contributes to service development, evidence-based policy, guidelines and procedure development in specialist areas; and undertakes research and audit projects.
Each member of the Children’s Community Dietetic team works closely with other health professionals, and professionals from other agencies in the borough, in assessing, treating and protecting children in their care.

Salary is determined by NHS experience and current banding/pay point. External applicants will begin at the entry point of the salary scale in line with NHS terms and conditions.
