The Anaesthetic department at PRUH and South Sites part of Kings NHS Trust is delighted to advertise this SCF in Anaesthesia

This post is aimed primarily at senior anaesthetic trainees, or qualified anaesthetists wishing to gain experience in a broad range of anaesthesia as well as further experience in regional anaesthesia.

We deliver anaesthesia for a range of general and subspecialty areas including, Maxillofacial, Bariatrics,  General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Trauma.

This post would be suitable for any Doctor looking for a senior fellowship.  The appointee will be expected to participate fully in the educational and training programmes within the Department and the Hospital. The appointee will have a named educational supervisor and be expected to undergo annual review and appraisal. Annual leave and Study leave is commensurate with other post foundation doctors

All employees are expected to undertake work on any of the Trust's  PRUH and South sites as required by the service. As an employee of the Trust you will work in close co-operation with, and support other clinical, medical professional and managerial colleagues in providing high quality healthcare to the Trust’s patients.   Integral to these responsibilities is the following: -

·The provision of a first-class clinical service.

·Effective leadership to all staff engaged in the specialty.

·Sustaining and developing teaching and research in conjunction with King’s College London / KHP.

·Undertaking all work in accordance with the Trust’s procedures and operating policies.

·Conducting clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of the Trust’s service plans.

·Maintaining the confidence of business plans and development strategies formulated for the specialty, the Care Group or the Trust.
